The teaching of Tibetan Buddhism is not only the a precious dharma for buddhists on this earth, but can also manifest great enlightenment for the modern time.
Tibetan book of the Dead” gives a wonderful universal mindfulness of transformation ideal for modern performance. To understand death better then it may help us to have a different attitude towards our life.
After completing “Shan Zai Dragon” which was based on Chinese ancient mythology and “Shan Hai Jing” based on the “Odyssey of a Shaman” from the ancient classical scripture, Shang Orientheatre began a new search for another old cultural interest to develop a new performance.
Adapting classical scripture for performance gives the members of Shang Orientheatre a great feeling of fulfillment.
